How it works
Even though there is some format to follow, it is important to know that each client's process may also look different. I will always try to adapt to the family and what works best for you or your child.

Generally, the process follows the following steps:

Free Consultation
We start with an online consultation with the parents, during which time you will give me the background and describe the situation. If there is a diagnostic report, I will request it during this time.

Proposal
After the initial consultation, I will send a basic proposal outlining the steps I suggest moving forward.

Coaching Starts
Should the proposal be accepted, we will move forward to schedule appointments to meet you or your child. Meetings with the parents can be digital, however, sessions with the child need to be conducted at their home. It is very important that I can see the child in their home environment to suggest appropriate tools and strategies.

Progress
Coaching sessions will generally be about 40 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for providing feedback to the parents. Should it, for any reason, not be possible to have a feedback session, a digital session can be scheduled. It is important to know that the process is dynamic, and flexibility is very important when coaching. Regular communication is, therefore, essential to adapt to the situation as needed.

Feedback
When it is mutually agreed, the coaching process will end. Upon completion, I will provide the client or parents with a report that summarises the identified goals of the coaching, the strategies used, as well as details on the process and the outcome. The report will include references to tools and strategies that could prove useful moving forward.
Some important stuff

It’s important to recognize that flexibility is key in this process. Each client or child has unique needs, and our approach must adapt to what works best for you or your child. Life is unpredictable, and with ADHD, impulsive decisions can sometimes lead to remarkable outcomes. While I will always strive to accommodate requests, it may not always be possible. However, together, we will work towards finding the best solution for you or your child.
Once your child’s difficulties have been identified or a diagnosis has been confirmed, informing the school is the next crucial step. However, this process can be more challenging and frustrating than anticipated. With my experience in educational settings, I can offer valuable assistance to help navigate this process. Please feel free to contact me if you need guidance.
Coaching sessions can be conducted online, in person, or through a combination of both, depending on what best suits the client’s needs. The most important factor is ensuring that the individual feels comfortable and free to express themselves openly. The format will be determined collaboratively as the coaching process progresses.
